• April is a good reminder of the warmer weather to come; it’s just those showers that some people find hard to deal with.  The best way to get through the rain and to the flowers is to have fun doing it.  Here are a few pairs of fun rain boots in a few different styles:

I like these because they’re neutral and classic.  Jenn said she got these Coach boots last season; they’ll be in for many seasons to come with the oversized classic Coach logo.  Fun and still fashionable.

These Old Navy rain boots are cute and stylish.  They’re also affordable for college students, like Shayla, who was nice enough to let me take a picture of her boots.  I like the navy/ yellow/ gray combination.

Or these J.Crew rainboots my friend said she got on sale for $19.99!

And these, made by Hunter, are so cute…with a pair of baggie jeans or a mini…

My friend said she got them for an unbelievable $29.99 at a T.J.Maxx store.

Some people like to dress up their rain-gear, or put a little more fun into their looks.  Here is Theresa Ferguson’s spin on rain gear.  The 19-year-old college student looks comfortable and classy.  She said the boots are from Aldo and the bag is from Express.  It’s a great combination and it isn’t over-coordinated.  I love it!

The green trench is from the Gap; the fresh green color goes well with the neutral tones of the animal prints on her accessories, and it brightens up her look.

Theresa said her style is a sort of  fun/mature style.  I think she pulls it off very well.
  • Here are a couple of pairs of my cousin’s shoes.  She is a professional and a student, so she likes to buy shoes that she can dress up or down.  These 5″ Michael Kors shoes work with a nice dress or skirt in the office, or with a little black dress for a night on the town.  They would even be OK for church – with the right dress.  They look really cute with jeans too, of course.

These black, 5″, leather shoes have a beautiful patent accent on the top and on the heel.  They’re by BCBG.  She said she got them on sale at Nordstrom, where she said she usually finds the best deals.

What a beautiful heel.  What a beautiful shoe.

  • D&G bag
    D&G bag

This oversized D&G brown leather bag is beautiful.  One of my girlfriends stopped by today and this was in her car.  For its size, it’s very light-weight.  The gold accents are very pretty; they look like real gold.  The leather has a certain smell to it, like expensive leather shoes.  Once in a while you can find a bargain like this, and when you do, you cannot walk away from it.  She said she paid $895 for the bag at half-off!  Half off!  The bag came from a D&G store.

The bag can be dressed up or down.  The minute you look at the bag, you can tell it’s authentic.  When you put the bag on your shoulder, you can feel that you’re wearing an item of high quality.  It’s the reason why I don’t see the point of wearing a knockoff – ever.
