  • Making a scarf, a big scarf!

    July 23, 2009

Last night while I was browsing the internet, I felt the need to make something for myself.  I will make a scarf using yarn my mom was using before she passed away.  It will make the cutest shawl to go around my arms – I like to wear T-shirts, and a shawl is cozy and warm, plus stylish.  Here is a picture of what I have in mind.

Wouldn’t it be nice if I could make like the scarf below, which was worn at a function for the Lion Brand Yarn Company.

I am in love with this scarf.  I’m going to try and make one and I’ll post progress reports with pictures.  I’m going to have to get some big sticks!

Here are some other cool, big scarves:

  • Why no posts? Go to Riquee.com!

    July 20, 2009

I haven’t posted on my blog because I don’t have a camera.  I have so much to tell and share, but no one wants to read a blog with no pictures.  I know this.  So, I hope to get a camera this semester because I’m taking an online journalism course and will need one.  Sorry for the boring blog, but I promise it will be fun once I am fully equipped.  Taking the online journalism course will be of trememdous help as well, I’m sure.

Talk to you soon.  For now, go to Riquee.com and see what I’m doing there.  Thank you very much!
